NYG Design -  Papago  Icon &  Illustration Design
Client:
Papagp, a specialized zoo focusing on parrot species and their conservation.
NYGDESIGN, a design studio established in Shenzhen in 2016 and is a Bay Area creative design company that has both fresh designs and creative warmth.

My Role:
Design a series of collectible badges for a visitor stamp collecting program
Create illustrations of various parrot species for packaging and graphic design applications. Develop a cohesive visual style that appeals to the zoo's primary audience: young visitors and the young.

Design Solution:
To meet the project requirements and appeal to the target audience, I developed a design style with the Cartoonish and Cute Aesthetic which Embracing the popular trend of cute styles. I created illustrations that feature exaggerated, endearing features such as large eyes and simplified body proportions.

Despite the cartoonish style, I conducted thorough research on various parrot species to ensure accurate representation of key features such as beak shapes, feather patterns, and color variations.

Outcome:
The project resulted in a series of engaging, collectible badges that have become popular among zoo visitors, encouraging repeat visits and enhancing the overall experience. The parrot illustrations have been successfully integrated into packaging designs and various marketing materials, contributing to a cohesive and appealing brand identity for Parrot Zoo.

Confidentiality Constraints: Due to confidentiality agreements, some aspects of the design process cannot be publicly shared. However, the final products can be viewed on the Parrot Zoo's official website, showcasing the successful implementation of the project.
